The protection, restoration, and preservation of Mongolia’s architectural heritage has become increasingly important in the modern era. In this context, a discussion meeting titled “On the Restoration, Conservation, and Protection of Mongolia’s Architectural Heritage” was successfully organized, bringing together young professionals in the field to share their experiences, research findings, and real case studies with a wider audience.
During the event, Consulting Engineer B. Ganbayar from Gango Architects & Engineers LLC delivered a presentation on “Possibilities of Preserving Cultural Heritage Buildings through Structural Strengthening.” The presentation emphasized that, rather than demolishing aging structures, it is possible to retain them by applying appropriate engineering solutions that strengthen the buildings while preserving their original value and historical significance.
The session featured practical examples and technical approaches, which led to an engaging and productive discussion among participants. This highlighted the importance of collaborative, multi-stakeholder involvement in the protection and conservation of cultural heritage.
Moving forward, our team remains committed to contributing professionally to the preservation and restoration of architectural heritage, while continuing to implement sustainable and forward-looking solutions.
