The building’s design is centered around a wave-like roof element that stretches from east to west. This “wave roof” is inspired by the sand dunes of the Mongolian Gobi Desert, as well as traditional Mongolian dance and contortion. The main goal of the volume planning is to preserve the existing façade while integrating it with the new design. The six blocks of the existing building act as supports for the new structure, with the main entrances located in these areas.
